The Mask Speaks
Today I saw people wearing masks. And I realised: The mask speaks to me!
Masks cover the mouth. So I thought of being silenced. And that reminded me of all the times the Lord has whispered to me: Do not be silenced by fear or any sense of inadequacy. Speak, Miriam. Speak!
Faith Speaks
I was reminded that faith speaks, and that faith speaks not what we see in the natural, but what we see based on the finished work of Christ.
To speak:
- Healing where there’s illness
- Light where there’s darkness
- Hope where there’s desperation
- Acceptance where there’s condemnation
- Christ in the crisis
Don’t Know What To Say?
Sometimes we don’t even know what to say. And I was reminded that that is a good time to pray in the spirit. When we do that, we speak the wonderful works of God.
The Mask Speaks To Me
Now every time I see a mask, it speaks to me!! – I’m reminded that faith boldly SPEAKS.
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness.”
Proverbs 31:26
